It all started 20 years ago with the home production of sloe gin for personal consumption and extended into becoming gifts for family and friends. This developed Into making more adventurous and experimental infused gins, such as, damson, rose, vanilla, rhubarb, hedgerow and elderflower.

The idea and concept of making a classic gin followed and the Bathtub Style “Amber Gin” was developed using lemon verbena leaves, infused with cinnamon, cranberries and orange zest.

A lightbulb moment idea invented a retro-style gin, something different and original for customers to enjoy, rather than a fruit-based gin. The popular “Sweetshop Gin” was created, patented and launched. This was soon followed by the launch of another retro-style gin, “Cherry Bakewell” Gin, to capture the flavours of the classic Cherry Bakewell Tart using real cherries for its flavour.

Pant Y Foel “Honey Spiced” Rum is flavoured using a locally sourced pure honey, which is also replicated from the same idea behind the brand, the infamous running brown hare. “Pant Y Foel” translates to “Dip in The Mountains” where the gins and spiced rum are produced and where the brown hares play fight in the open fields of the Hiraethog Valley.
